ABOUT THE SHOW

Peperuda is a new immersive dance show inspired by the Bulgarian rainmaking dance and singing ritual. It is a communal show searching for hope — centred on young people and the reinvention of ancient ritual.

The work asks urgent questions: how can we act more as a community? How can we create our own contemporary rituals to cope with the events of our time? How can we find communal hope?

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE

Rehearsals October 2026 - 3 full weeks, 5 days per week, 1/2 days, Central London

Premiere 5-7th November 2026, Central London venue

Fees All rates paid in accordance with Equity UK / ITC standards

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We welcome applications from London-based professional dancers of all genders, ages, and backgrounds.

HOW TO APPLY

Please submit the following two videos, along with a brief bio, to surdcedancecollective@gmail.com by 30th April 2026. Applicants will be invited for a live audition by 2nd May 2026.

1. Short video of you clearly identifiable dancing in a live show — ideally alone / duet

2. Dance / performance CV

3. Short video from a studio or rehearsal space showcasing your technique and/or improvisation
