Join surdce dance collective’s Artistic Directors Marchela Merchant & Stephanie Handjiiska for a full day dance & wellness immersion in a secret new location.

surdce dance collective is a dance company of a new generation. Our goals are to foster community & care in a fast paced digital world. Through a female gaze, we create original dance performances and movement experiences aiming to search for a way to live as one with nature, honour our heritage & inspire communities to move with love.
This special one-day London retreat includes the following:
60 minute Ecstatic Dance Workshop - open level & suitable for everyone
30 minute Tea & Breakfast Break
75 minute Lecture & Journal - Soul to Body: Connect, Honour & Move Your Unique Body
Lunch Break
45 minute Dynamic Pilates - Build & Recruit Your Muscles for a Healthy Life
60 minutes Gentle, Relaxing Yoga & Sound Bowls Journey
About the teachers:
Stephanie & Marchela are professional dancers & choreographers, alumni of some of the most prestigious dance universities in London - Trinity Laban & London Contemporary Dance School.
Together, they also hold more than 1000 hours of training in different aspects of Yoga, Pilates, Barre technique. They teach with a deep, holistic understanding of the body, creativity and most importantly - with love.
Investment:
£110 for the entire day
£65 for ½ day

Who is it for:
Anyone who is looking to find an accessible way into their body to move with love, connection, awareness & technique.
All bodies, ages, abilities and backgrounds welcome. You don’t need any previous movement or dance experience to join. Beginners are very welcome.
What will you need:
Comfortable clothes to move in, layers (short sleeve & long sleeve).
Water bottle.
Journal & pen.
Yoga mat & optional eye cover for the sound journey.
Tea & breakfast is provided by the workshop. Lunch is to be provided by the participants.
