Relaxed & family-friendly performance
An immersive dance work by surdce dance collective
“Temna ye magla padnala, di li do, di li do…”
AN ANCIENT RITUAL WALKS INTO THE CITY.
A show about being together and building hope through caring, dancing and helping each other.
Inspired by the Balkan rainmaking ritual of Peperuda, six dancers bring an ancient tradition into the present, exploring how we gather, support one another and find hope through collective movement.
Bring your family to St Ethelburga’s and experience the London premiere together.
☀️ A GENTLER SETTING
Our relaxed matinee features lower music volume, softer daytime lighting, cushions and pouffes, a welcoming setting for families to share an afternoon of dance and music.
🎧 For very noise-sensitive children, we recommend bringing your own ear defenders. Children and toddlers are free to roam in the space with adult supervision.
